Saffrron is a lovely restaurant and is definitely one of our favourites. The food is always delicious and the service is very good. We often go there for our 'date nights' as a couple. The other night we took our two boys too (6yo and 9yo) and it was great that Saffrron cater for children too and had a separate... More

Recently went to Saffrron for lunch with 4 others. We noticed that the menu said they would not separate the bill. Prior to ordering we asked if this could be arranged as we had not come prepared for this. We were the only people eating in the restaurant that day and given that they were not busy (ie only we... Recently had takeaway food from Saffron and the quality was great. Not cheap at $90 for two , just mains ,rice , two breads and extra pickles and sauces, but very good. Forget Hanamun for Indian food , Saffrons is fresher , tastier ,and more authentic. Not kept in a bain marie like its Mitchell St rival this food is... More

Food was delicious! Service was a bit slow, but when you got their attention they were very polite and helpful. A bit unsure about the bamboo/ sugar cane "paper" plates but good for the environment. Atmosphere was a bit cold and sterile, tables a bit small for the amount of food! Decor could be a bit more rustic to soften... More

I love that the food is very fresh and I can tell they don't use any preservative, as I have allergy to some Thai and Indian Foods that use this preservative.. and I never experience it here. Service is great and the staff in very friendly. You Must Sample the Icecream when you go.. Delicious!! More

Fantastic place, highly recommended. Service was second to none, helpful but not pushy. Cannot wait to go back. For those travellers needing a good indian fix, it's worth leaving the CBD for this beauty! More

I have visited Saffron on 2 occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed the food. You can request more chilli if you can handle more than the mild curry (I can't!) and there is your normal selection of naans, rice etc. It has enviromentally friendly cutlery, plates and even straws! The drinks however are in normal glasses. I highly recommend the mild... More

My title says it all. I left feeling like a piece of dirt... having confessed (albeit light-heartedly) about not having much money and wanting to share meals we were sternly told that it simply wasn't allowed and there were no buts about it. I see no difference what it would have made... we were still going to order a couple... More

At Saffrron we do appreciate customer feedback and believe it’s a welcome opportunity to reflect on how and what we’re doing. However, every now and then we do receive a review that simply defies logic and we must correct misinformation. Indian cuisine is all about sharing different dishes and sharing is likewise encouraged (as opposed to ‘not allowed’) at Saffrron.... More

I have visited Saffrron on many occasions, each and everytime they have really exceeded expectations. My last visit included a global traveller who remarked on how the food was World Class. More
