authenic chinese cuisine located in Darwin's Smith st mall. Danny is the mistro of this comfortable establishment that takes pride in the preparation and serving of it food. The waiting staff can be a bit too keen at times in over servicing the table. The duck and dumplings make this the premier eating destination for Darwin. More

Recently my wife and I took two friends of ours to the Tasty House in Darwin for an evening dining experience. I have read much about this restaurant but until now had not experienced it. From the moment we walked in the door we were well looked after, at times we got too much attention. The greeting was both cheerful... More

Located in Darwin Mall. Had dinner and the service was amazing, with a friendly smile the entire time. Plates cleared immediately after each course and table kept clean. We were asked how our meal was at the right time, about 3/4 through the main course. Asked if we wanted drinks refilled. Very pleased with the service. Spicy Cabbage Kimchi is... More

This resuarant is centrally located right in the mall, and is aptly named. The menu was diverse, we shared meals and had a taste of quite a few dishes, all of which were yummy. The service was good, and the prices reasonable. More

We ate at 7.30pm - asked for advice as we fancied the peking duck but couldn't understand the (2 courses) tag - we are english!! We know that this duck dish is different from the english version, but were delighted with the first serving being with pancakes and the second as an additional dish - we chose fried rice which... After a big night out on Saturday, recovery yum cha at Tasty House with best buds makes for a leisurely Sunday. Don't forget to pick up a paper on the way to browse over food. If you book you can secure a table inside the restaurant, with it's ambient lighting and diligent staff, but if you don't then it's out... More

We were walking through the mall when we saw the Sunday Yum Cha sign. Initially we were confused by the lack of carts, but the hostess explained their system and it worked well. The food was lovely. The prices and quality matched Sydney’s China Town eateries. We stuck to the steamed dishes and loved every one of them. Highly recommended. More

This place is off Smith street in the mall. Can't really miss it as it's the only chinese restaurant in the area except for the foodcourt/takeaways. Had the lunch special which was 3 yum cha dishes and 1 main and fried rice or plain rice to share for $33AUD. The yum cha is ordered off the set menu, very limited... More

We went on a weekday lunch and got three beautiful dim sum dishes, fried rice (with real prawns) and a lunch dish for $16.50. Really enjoyed it and will be going back on Sunday for their yum cha buffet. More
