First of all, we chose this place because nothing else except McDonalds or KFC was open, at 6:20 in the evening; so these guys have the market cornered in that aspect. Oscars used to be one of our favourite places to go for lunch or dinner - the food and service was the best in town. Now it feels lacking in atmosphere and whilst the staff try their best, it just feels a bit flat. The food isn't quite as good either so you don't feel like it's worth the price.... More

We had Melbourne Cup lunch at Oscars with work colleagues, the meal was really lovely, great vegetarian entree and main, plus the non vegetarian food looked great, the seafood was very impressive by the comments of the other diners with me. More

I visited Oscars with friends and found it by far the best food and most enjoyable evening during my visit to Alice Springs. I ordered the crab and prawn risotto followed by a chocolate pot and it was superb.If you visit Alice give yourself a treat and have a meal in Oscars, it's not to be missed! More

Went for lunch with some work colleagues. Really enjoyed the Pork Belly Baguette - looove the Chilli Jam, friends had the BLT which was fantastic and the Carbonara which was perfect - sauce wasn't too heavy or too light.
