We found Raquel's by chance, but it was a great find. It is a proper, old-European-style family-run restaurant with reasonable prices, in an area (Oxford Street) full of tourist traps. Food was excellent. We had two starters (chorizo cooked in cider and garlic prawns) that were tremendous. Main courses (lamb shank and Raquel's chicken with lentils) were better than the starters. Atomosphere isn't much but the food and value was just excellent. This is a BYO restaurant so add to your value by bringing your own wine. Corkage is $3.50...
