I was very happy to have chanced upon Maggies during a recent visit to Potts Point. We wandered in to this fabulously kitsch Tyrolean wonderland on a cold night, and the vibe inside was buzzy, fun and cosy. The service was exactly how I like it - very efficient and friendly without being overly familiar. The menu (both food and... More

Maggie's serves huge hearty German fare like sausages and sauerkraut, thick roast pork potatoes, vegetables and crackling and of course beautiful big pieces of Cherry strudel. For 3 meals including a glass of wine each it was $70. The servings were so large, that I had to give some of my meal away to my 2 friends. Well worth it. More

This was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The food was burnt and what made it worse was it was cold too. When we complained our comments were ignored. My advice walk by and find somewhere else. More

This Potts Point institution has made some changes recently, but cleverly left the essentials untouched - the Jager sauce, the Pork Knuckle, the Strudel is all the same as it ever was. New is the availability of lighter meal options, better salads, fresher produce, better wines. They has entertainment during Mardi Gras - a drag queen channeling the spirit of... More

I went to maggies for the first time in five years and nothing has changed, its still one of the best places to go for a bite with friends in the kings cross/potts point area. I can see how they have remained in business for over 20 years and have remained busy during that time. The staff were super helpful... More

We have been to Maggie's in both her locations over 15 years of visitng Sydney. The food is tasty German fare. It's not fancy but it's good comfort food. Prices are reasonable. We typically are part of large parties, 10+ people, when we go here. More

A decent value for money meal. Great location in the heart of the cross. Staff are pleasant with a relaxing atmosphere. Great for Sunday breakfast and browsing through the newspaper with a coffee More
