The reviews looked so promising and yet the meal was somewhat disappointing. We had 4 different noodle soups around the table and even with plenty of additional sauces all of us were fairly dismayed at the lack of flavour to the dishes. The noodles were all over cooked and very stodgy so we left 4 bowls of half eaten food... More

Morning congee with yu tiao is such a simple breakfast but such a comforting way to start for the Chinese population. So I can see why this place is pumping bright & early in the morning. Many of its steamed or fried dumplings or pancakes are hand made at the front of the restaurant so you know it is all... More

Really enjoyed the food, pork dumplings were a highlight with plenty of cabbage within providing a soft melt in the mouth feel rather than the the more solid "meaty" varieties in other Chinese cuisines. Not a flash place to sit, however the way it is tucked in an arcade almost made you feel like you were in Taiwan or China... More

We went there for lunch on a Sunday and arrived early about 11.30am, just in time to get the 2nd last available... More

Very good value for money. Authentic food and good servings. However you have to be use to Asian ‘canteen’ type restaurants . Children ate and like the deep fried chicken. Adults beef or pork with black pepper or chicken stir fry. More

I visit this place regardless everytime I'm in Sydney. Occassionally I get good service and occasionally I get bad service. I've gotten the occasional dirty spoon too but the location, opening times and the food make up for it! Its quick, tasty and fresh! It can cure a massive hangover and warm up a cold day. Definitely a great place... More

This is a small little eatery smack bang in the middle of Chinatown. I've passed it many times and have always intended to try it but hadn't, until today. I didn't really have any expectations for it, but it always seems very busy, so I assumed it must be quite good, cheap, or both. It turned out to be a... More
