It has been many many years since I visited Vamps at Paddington, but the night I visited with co-workers from the then nearby RHW the food was thourougly enjoyable. I felt the "settings as far as decoration was very french if not gaudy, but I have no recollection of any problems with the food or the cost of the bill. More
