The degustation was superb. It's around $130per person. Very nice modern Japanese food. More

Very small and perfectly charming high end Japanese. Lunch is the more affordable bet. Superb bento boxes make a wonderful meal - wagyu or rudder fish melt in the mouth. Dinner prices are sky high. yoshii has some of the best sashimi in Australia - Azuma is a worthy alternative, but an altogther different experience as it is less intimate More

HI everybody ! Very charming place with a nice sushi bar and a lovely restaurant, quiet, zen....I am pretty interested about gastronomics restaurants. ( in Paris I have tasted many michelins stars restaurants). I also loveeeeeee Japanese food, You know what I mean ? Not sushi train or some bloody stuffs like that... NO, I love typical japanese food, like... More

Wow! This place is really a rip off! They add 10% to the bill on "public Holidays" and another 2% if you want to use a credit card. The servings are TINY!!! And by that I mean minuscule... $350 later we left saying " ok... So... Where to for dinner now". Sheesh, whoever reviews this needs to learn what good... More

Having first given the restaurant the right of reply to my concerns before publishing them for all to see they did not reply. My wife and I had the degustation menu on a 'busy' Friday night. There were at least 8 other diners in the restaurant. This should have told us something to begin with. The 2 waiting staff were... More

We went to Yoshii for dinner on 07 April 2011. We should have left once we discovered the place was empty @ 19:20. I asked If we could sit at the empty sushi bar but were refused. The decor is lacking in every way, bad lighting , austere in an uninspired small scale prison cafeteria way. The waitstaff was unprofessional... More

Once a great restaurant, its now fading at the edges. Good food generally is spoilt by some fish not quite as fresh as it should be. Service generally good - until the end. The restaurant itself is now grubby - they need to clean the bathroom doors, remove the ciggie butts from the front door and replace the few damaged... More

This is the restaurant for special occassions. First time I was here was 7 years ago for parents' 30th anniversary and was very impressed with the food and the service. This time I thought I would bring my partner for this 30th birthday. I have made a booking via e mail 2 months ago and have received a confirmation but... More

We showed up on a quiet Thursday night and were informed that only Price Fixe for $120 each was available (as we had not made reservations). We agreed and sat down to a fantastic selection of different types of sushi, cooked dishes and vegetables. We also got the Sake taster. The sushi was very good and the cooked dishes were... More
