“Underrated historic gem”

This is a great place to take a quiet break from the crowded city and get a taste of some history as well. The cafe is located upstairs in the HQ of the Historic Houses Trust and members get a discount. “A quiet spot on Macquarie Street”

Located in the old Sydney Mint building, this cafe is lovely and quiet with good food and excellent service. The menu is small, but the food is of a high standard. Reccommend sitting out on the balcony to watch the world go by. A nice alternative to the loud city cafe scene. More

“Tasty tiny portions”

The wait staff are friendly and obliging, the balcony seating, with a view of Macquarie Street below is pleasant during the warmer months and the food is of a high standard. But I wanted more! The portions are teeny tiny! More

Personally being in the CBD I would expect more..but then...it is a cafe and not a restaurant. An interesting menu selection but limited. More
