We were lucky enough to have this restaurant recommended to us by Bike Buffs following our amazing bike tour of Sydney. Sailor's is a quaint restaurant in The Rocks. The atmosphere is friendly and the long communal table makes for a unique dining experience. I highly recommend the Fried Rice with Prawns, Pork Belly in Sweet and Sour Sauce (great... More

Very good Thai food, and if you get a seat outside, you get a pretty good view. More

The canteen upstairs boasts a long common table, fresh ingredients, helpful staff and sizzling kitchen. The menu is not extensive, but everything on it tastes great. The pad thai was a delight - a balanced light and flavourful sauce. The beef with chilli was spicy and sweet at once - a good compliment with the pad thai and bowl of... More

We went to the canteen, rather than the restaurant. It was busy, so a short wait for a seat at the long canteen style table. But we were well looked after while we waited. Good choice on the menu - all freshly cooked, great flavours Good vibrant atmosphere - as it was Sydney fashion week, and some interesting (!) outfits... More

Amost unassuming place in the ROCKS on George Street. A long shared table greets customers. Try to get there early so you can get out on the balcony ( the best place, with views to the ferries) You go to this Thai, for the best Thai food in Sydney. THE FOOD IS WONDERFUL. Try the Barrrumdi Salad More

Our party of 12 were once again ably looked after. The floor manager runs the place extremely efficiently ensuring service is relaxed and friendly. Sometimes the wait staff can be a bit hard to understand but that just adds to the experience. The food is hard to fault and seems to come out very quickly. I would advise to sit... More

The groundfloor restaurant chiefly consists of one long table at which you get seates besides stranger. This is on one hand funny and interesting on the other hand though, it kind of precludes any cosy atmosphere from comming up, as it is a constant coming and leaving besides you. The choice of food is (too) small, however the food itself... More

Sailor's Thai offers a menu that deviates from your stock standard Thai restaurant. The range is fairly small and it does offer a few items for vegetarians. We were in a party of four, of which two are vegetarians and that's probably our only complaint. The 3 vegetarian options really don't do justice to Sailor's Thai in comparison to the... More

This place was recommended by the concierge at our hotel and he hit the nail right on the head with this place! It is small and the entrance is down a little alleyway but the food was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced for expensive Sydney (especially around The Rocks/Circular Quay). I had the vege pad thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. I... More
