I was a regular customer of Marigold Restaurant until the last dinner I ate there. There was eight of us and we ordered live lobster and when it was brought out onto the table everyone agreed it had no taste and it just did not had the consistency of a fresh lobster. We know the Manageress Judy quite well and... More

Expect to queue on weekends for a seat at this yumcha establishment. The food is amazing, the service can be surly. You go there for the great dim sums and yummy desserts. More

Having had yum-cha in China, Europe and at some of the best Chinese restaurants in Bangkok, I must say that the Marigold offers some of the best I have tasted thus far! There is much to choose at decent prices! The mango-pancakes are a particular highlight. Don't go here expecting a romantic meal - carts are driven around this large... More

Reasonable place to have dim sum/ yum cha. Note that especially on weekends when they open up both floors (4th and 5th) for yum cha, please go to the 5th floor. The ambience is much much nicer. I guess the food is the same. More

I have always come here for the yum cha but recently had a dinner here with a few family members. We ordered plenty of seafood and had the customary steamed fish as well which was very well done. Cannot really fault the food here as they a wide variety of dishes to suit the mix array of customers which dine... More

I have been to the Marigold many time and enjoy it every time. I particularly like their Yum Cha but you need to be early or you will have a long wait. The Marigild occupies 2 floors of the building and either is an enjoyable experience. There are many fine restaurants in Sydney's Chinatown but the Marigold is consistant, well... More
