Wanted to go to another restaurant on our first night in Sydney but couldn't really find my way, ended up here instead. Chose this place out of the other eateries in this stretch, as it was the most crowded so thought that the crowd would be a good gauge. Had a white fish/asparagus cream capunti pasta dish, and also the... More

This restaurant shares a kitchen and seating with Wolfies next door and another fish restaurant. Service was quick and pleasant, but the food was mediocre and poor value for money. Nice views across the harbor, but wouldn't go back when there are so many other better restaurants nearby. More

Spent an evening with a large group of colleagues enjoying the platter menu at Italian Village. Plenty of food, loads of taste but the venue was not overly conducive to good conversation. Nice to be able to catch glimpses of the harbour from our table. Only gripe foodwise would have been the over emphasis on pizza for our group. Otherwise... More

What better location can you get??? Loved it. Food was excellent, as was the service. Bar staff were friendly and made great cocktails. Great day or night, with a large table or intimate table for two. A must for overseas guests to visit and very reasonably priced. More

The meals were just dreadfull, dry, stiff pasta in what seemed like bottled sauce. Rissotto Crunchy and bland. Canneloni seemed like it was made by a child , brushcetta wasn't even toasted, just bread with bit of tomato thrown on , honestly the chef should be embarrassed More

We visited Italian village today for lunch. Having a one year old and a 10 & 12 year old in tow we wanted something kid friendly. Italian village was just the place. The food was fabulous, the kids were very welcome and the staff very attentive to them. Although the food is quite expensive, there is plenty of it and... More

Maybe we were lucky, but the food was good, the wine was excellent, the service was good to start with and got better during the meal and of course its difficult to beat the vieuw. And yes, its to expensive, but what do you expect at a location like that (did you ever try an Italian restaurant at the Piazza... More
