We recently visited Cafe Sicilia as part of Oz Harvest Apart from great food, the atmosphere is unique, our group of 6 felt as though we were in a smart cafe in downtown New York Then a group of 8 men sat a the table nearby looking like a meeting of the local Don's all they needed was Marlon Brando... we had lunch here recently and the food was delicious. The service was very attentive and the waiters were so professional...just like it is in Italy. The desserts were delicious and we took some home for dinner. More

This place was a welcome addition to Crown Street and the fit out is great. Service is generally really good but there is a tendency to be left without adequate waitstaff when the places gets a bit more crowded. The food is generally excellent but once or twice the rabbit dish was not quite up to their usual standard. Overall... More

We walked up and down Crown street not where to go as we did not want to spend a fortune on a tiny, designer meal. This place had plenty of people eating there when we arrived and loads more piled into this restaurant. Good food and a fabulous ricotta cannoli to round off my meal :) More

We went to Caffe Sicilia for a Sunday lunch. The service was very relaxed as the Italian waiters seemed more interested in chatting to the pretty girls than serving our table. The food was mostly good and traditional Sicilian. The Seafood Risotto was great while the Chick with wild mushrooms was an overcooked roast chicken with a wild mushroom sauce... More

The wait staff here are amazing and so attentive. My friends and I were served by a handsome Roman man who we... More

The atmosphere is perfect, wonderful position of the old Yai, Surry Hills restaurant. THe wait staff are impeccably dressed and attend patrons appropriately - mainly when the restaurant isn't too busy. Once the wheels start rolling and the palce picks up, staff tend to get flustered and little things liek requests for cutlery, water or the bill fall by the... More
