I like this pub because it has a great beer selection, and they have a gourmet pizza menu. The location is good, it's an easy walk from most of the CBD hotels, and reasonably prices for decent food (hey, this is a tourist area, you'd not expect a lot). More

We went with our children for a quick meal, arriving at Sydney Harbour YHA. We'd just flown for 14 hours and this is next door to the hostel. The predominant food is pizza but they do have salads and a bit of fish and meat. The atmosphere inside was almost non existent. Outside was better, but smoking. It also loos... More

The Australian Heritage Hotel makes excellent pizzas to go with their wide variety of beers. We tried the kangaroo pizza and loved it. More

On a recent trip to Sydney we visited this place on the way back from doing the bridge climb. There is a good lively atmosphere about the place with a good bit of activity. The staff were pleasant and efficient, even though the place was busy the girl working behind the bar remembered the round of drinks we were on... More

Located just off the Sydney Bridge walking path at 100 Cumberland Street (at the convergence of Cumberland and Gloucester Street west of the Rocks area), the Australian Hotel (9 rooms) needs to be on the "must do" list of everyone visiting Sydney.  With over 120 ever changing varieties of Australian beer (14 on tap) the Australian boasts the largest selection... What a cute pub in the rocks, which is teaming with pubs. Attracting us was the outside tables and the pizza. Had the duck which was overloaded with duck and very very tasty. Yum.Topped off with local beer and we were very happy. More

The pizzas a great here and I recommend the Kangaroo pizza as it's the best! Great selection of Aussie beers. Laid back pub in The Rocks. A great place for a bite to eat before heading to Sydney Observatory which is a 2 min walk away. More

The restaurant is a true heritage building with nice two level indoor bar as well as outdoor seating. They cater a good selection of traditional (can we say that???) Australian food as well a good selection of beers and snack. Recommended! More
