We loved this bistro from the cocktails on the terrace - great view - to the modern interior of an historic building to the menu choices and great service. We booked quite late and when we arrived our table was not ready so the manager offered us a complementary cocktail on the terrace. We did not have to wait for... More

We went with a group of 8 of us for a friends birthday. We had a 6:30 seating and enjoyed our drinks and food, albeit pretty expensive for the portion size. My husband had the steak. Very nicely cooked but small portion. I had a pork belly which was fantastic. Good portion size for me. Others at the table ordered... More

Walked into Baroque Bistro and asked for a table at 6pm on a Sat night without booking. The food was quite ordinary and the decor was not too exciting. We were given a table at the end by the floor manager, whom was cool and expressionless. Contrary to that, the waitress who served us was really nice and helpful. We... More

We were on a city tour in Sydney and at first only intended to have a snack and a drink/coffee/tea on the terrace of the Bistro Baroque. We then had some oysters and maccarons and liked it a lot. We were then looking for another restaurant to have dinner as we were a bit sceptic (always are ;-) ) towards... More

We had the charcuterie and Duck confit--both were excellent and reasonably priced. The tables are not crowded next to each other like many other French restaurants, so private conversation was possible. Timely service. I would go back tomorrow.

Despite being a single diner on a Friday night, I was given a nice table. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The food was special, so unusually I ate three courses. Very reasonably priced for Sydney too given the quality. I went again on my last night and experienced the same.

Although waiters did not mention it to us we were aware of our time limit and did feel quite rushed - courses delivered pronto! No leisurely lingering here.
