Waiter staff needs to be more professional. Not carry on personal conversations about work conditions. They need to be passion about their job. Really enjoyed the food. Don't know of we would go back!!!

Short scenic drive out of Sydney. World class food - my best fish and chips ever!
we turned up here for lunch (not having booked) on over the new year weekend after a morning on the beach. we were pleasantly suprised that they were able to find us a table - the food was great - some lovely oysters, and a nice ( but small) kids menu. A lovely laid back atmosphere. we would definately go...

We enjoy going down to Ripples as its a nice local restraunt. Good choice in the menu and it's BYO so saves on cost of wine. You don't have much of a view considering its at the beach! Just has cars parked in front of it. However we still like the location. Great spot to meet friends and chillax
Ripples@Whale Beach sits right on the beach and diners are embraced by the blue Pacific. The setting is intimate and charming and Ripples was the right place to celebrate Father's Day.
An excellent set menu was on for the Day. Three choices for each course and a glass of sparkling wine to get things off to a good start. All...

You really can't beat a $39 two course special including a glass of decent wine. Service was very friendly, but the food from the limited fixed price menu was a little ordinary. Also, I would suggest going during the day as at night, it really could be anywhere. There isn't a huge amount of great value restaurants on the northern...

The decor, the service, the menu, the beach, the clean air, and the food absolutely matched the weather - simply perfect. My father had the classic fish and chips which he said was divine and let me say the serving was more than generous. I had the octopus with a vietnamese sauce and aioli which was scrumptious. However, the best...

Regrettably, this restaurant has nothing in common with the other ones in Sydney by the same name. The restaurant floor is below the street level and sitting outside, all one can see are the wheels and the undercarriages of the cars parked in front of the place. One could be in any suburban car parks. No need to drive for...

Ridiculous policy of charging for tap water at the kiosk leaves a bad taste!
Food was really good, the Taste of the Sea starter was a real winner and with our main course, joy of joys, real home made tartar sause, no out of a bottle muck. Staff were just so friendly and helpful, a wonderful experience, would strongly recommend a trip and then after a lay on the beach in the shade of...
