Great location, superior food at an afforable price. Well recommended and worth a try.

Canberra is not exactly awash with Italian restaurants, but La Scala is as good as any in Melbourne or Sydney. The food is beautiful, and although the restaurant seats a lot of people, the owners have creatively divided up the space to create a sense of intimacy. It's not cheap, but it's a lovely place for a special meal.

I have been to La Scala a couple of times now, their pasta is quite nice, however their ala carte menu is purely devine. I would suggest having an entree or certainly plan on having dessert, as they are small meals, yet full of flavours that dance in your mouth.
