This restaurant is right in the heart of the city so lunchtimes are full of office workers. Evenings are best, food good.

If you're in Civic and looking for somewhere that's reliable and not too expensive, Sammy's is a safe choice. Apparently it's a Canberra institution, and while I wouldn't rave about it, if you're looking for Asian food it's a nice venue where you can get good food at a reasonable price.

Sammy's food is always good value, easy to share and tasty. It can get very busy so would definitly recommend bookings, especially for groups above 3 people.

This is a great place for a quick meal or take-out.

First night had dinner at Sammy's Kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can highly recommend.
