We've tried several times but this place consistently lets itself down. There is not enough seating, waiting times are ridiculously long, once you get a seat you wait for ever to order and for the order to arrive. And the biggest insult is the snooty attitude of the wait staff.

Felt sorry for the staff, they seemed overworked and not well staffed enough to cater for the busy Friday night crowd. The coffee and cake was nice, but be prepared for a long wait.

Very chocolatey, the actual chocolates for sale are varied, but I don't like the designs of the specialist chocolate items eg the Easter and Christmas range. i don't buy them because they are expensive and too Disney-like.

Caught up with some friends for a hot chocolate - good, attentive and friendly staff and a delicious hot chocolate. And I have found the same on previous visits.

Like its siblings in the other states, the Canberra KB is stylish in an old-world European fashion: high ceilings, cherub chandeliers and wooden counters with individual chocolates laid out in serried rows. You could say it's channelling an Edwardian tea house - I... More
