Second time here and could not fault the service and the food. Prices were very reasonable and three different types of dining were available.

What passes as the centre of Canberra - Civic - has a surprising lack of decent Asian restaurants. There are no good Chinese (other than the 'fusion' Chairman and Yip), at least comparable to the good ones at Manuka and Kingston such as Timmy's Kitchen, Ginseng and Portia's Place. Family looking forward to teppanyaki and ordered the lobster menu. Chef appeared to be tired & bored and had no interest in interacting with customers. Lacked the fun and excitement we've experienced at other teppanyaki restaurants. Food was average though expensive & we left the restaurant still hungry. Dessert was boring. We wouldn't bother with this one again.
I went for dinner on a Thursday night with work collegues. We were made to feel rushed to order even though the restaurant was empty. I absolutely agree with previous review in that the dessert was very boring and not at all authentic of Japanese cuisine. I did rate the hot sake though

While we have received good service from...

Food was great. Showmanship with the tepannyaki was superb with little fun tricks. Food was plenty and perfectly cooked. :-)

Well where do we start. First impression not too bad. But we were in and out in 45 minutes...and we ordered the top set teppanyaki menu. There was no entertainment from the chef. No personality from the staff. But plenty of garlic and soy sauce. The lobster was under cooked. The fried rice was crunchy. And we ate with throw...
