This has to be my favourite restaurant in the Canberra Region. The food is always of a high standard and the servings just right. Like Darren B - I have been here several times and intend to continue to do so.

Try the mussels-- or the large family sized pizza--or any of the pasta-- a wonderful spot for two or for a family in Kingston for a great, and affordable, meal.
I've been here several times and have always enjoyed the food - the Calzone is the best I've had anywhere, and its huge... The ambience in the restaurant is pleasant and it is one of my Canberra favorites. The service can be hit & miss, and some staff are friendlier than others, but I go for the food, not the...

great pizzas and ambience - you'll need your waterbottle at bedtime though!!!
This place was packed and we bought some takeaway pasta. It was quick, not too expensive and the great thing was that it didnt taste like takeaway pasta. The portions were pretty generous, and not too heavy.
We have been returning to this restaurant every couple of months for a couple of decades. It's basically a pizza and pasta place and you should not expect more or less. Service has always been excellent - we went just a day ago. By Canberra standards the value is really very good.
The service was prompt but vague. We ordered salmon and blue cheese pasta - it was tasty but there wasn't much salmon in the dish. We also had a salad with semi-dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. If you order the salad, watch those artichoke hearts, they're a bit tough.
After living in Canberra for a year or so, this place became a favorite. Amazing food at a really good price and outstanding customer service! Gino in particular is a star, we had family visit and took them to La Capanna and Gino made it an unforgettable evening! 10/10
I've been to La Capanna a few times over the years and always thought it was pretty average, but after my most recent feel compelled to make my feelings known. I made a booking a few weeks before the event for 30 people and was assured it was no problem. However, when I contacted the restaurant the day before to confirm numbers I was informed by a...
