This was our third visit to the Haig (the previous 2 were some time ago). The young waitress was quite clearly out of her depth, couldn't remember who had ordered what, even though we were only a party of 5. There were not a lot of our guests. Liked - the seared scallops, garlic prawns, blue cheese gnocchi and steak. Very popular with families so a bit noisy.

The Haig Italian Restaurant was excellent service was good meals ordered were prompt and of high standard ours was part of a package the Cuddle and Bubble and was of good value.

Average menu and taste was very bland. Under staffed on this particular night. We ate here a few years ago but the standard has certainly slipped.

The meals here were gross. We had a 3 course dinner included in our stay at the apartments, but would definitely not choose to go there again.

Food is not worth the price. Either bland, or too oily. Dessert was the only worthwhile item on the menu and even that was something that could easily be cooked at home.

The Haig Italian has the ambience of a 1980's country cafe but they do a pretty good steak to make up for it.
