I went here for my wedding anniversay and I gotta say it is sublime, but took 3 hours to get through the tasting menu, then i ordered a meat dish and was full. Base males might struggle here but it is quality.

A meal at Chairman and Yip is always a delight. Wonderful different food, service is great and unobtrusive and no pretention. Chairman has mauintained these high standards for years and its prices are affordable.

This is a bit of an iconic place in Canberra, we enjoyed our meal here, the menu had a range of choices, the atmosphere was nice and service good, had a lot of other customers on the night we went and overall we had a good evening with friends. On the expensive side.

it is a contemporary mix between Australian and Chinese cuisine and I think thats how they get away with their small serving sizes and high prices. If you want chinese best to go else where. We went here for our anniversary and it was disappointing.
