On a cold wet Canberra night we ventured out to Morks. We were rewarded with a warm welcome and some of the best restaurant food we have eaten. Quality fresh ingredients prepared in an innovative way to produce mouth watering dishes. Not traditional Thai, but full of warming yet fresh Thai flavours. I had the lamb cutlets; marinated in spices... More

Not traditional Thai - modern but fool of the zest and flavour of Thai ingredients and cooking methods.

We ended up going squeezing a second dinner in the 3 nights we had left after a magic meal at Morks! Beautiful people that obviously enjoy what they are doing as their attention to presentation and taste was magical.

I've been to this restaurant multiple times and I can honestly say that it offers a distinctive and pleasurable experience offered by no other in Canberra. The innovative cuisine coupled with the passion to serve the freshest and locally produced ingredients leaves you with an unforgettable experience every time. I have eaten at many restaurants in Canberra that claim to sell Thai food. I have been disappointed with most. This one, however, is a complete contrast. Its the best in town by miles. I can't wait to go back.

This is a small restaurant, tucked away opposite Domino's Pizza at Florey Shops in West Belconnen. It is an unusual addition to such a non-descipt little local shopping centre. Walk inside the doors and you will find a compact, classy, modern restaurant; packed to the rafters with discerning locals who are in on the secret that is Morks - quite... More

We have been regulars at Morks for a few years now, and cannot fault it. amazing food, wonderful friendly service. Cuisine is modern Thai and the standard is consistently high. Morks is getting "discovered", so it is now essential to book, but it is a small family run restaurant and never fails to impress. Food is innovative and different. We... More

This place is small, tucked away and a little bit secret .....but probably the one of the best dining experiences in Canberra. I had far better food and a much more enjoyable time here than at the Ginger Room! The a la carte menu is a modern take on traditional Thai dishes, with the Australian influence showing in dishes like... More

This restaurant serves interesting modern contemporary Thai food. I can say it's innovative and it's quite tasty and delicious. It's works like a western meal where there are 2 / 3 courses. You may share the entrees but it's difficult to share your main as in normal Thai dish. You get your own main dish with one main theme protein... More

Have had both take-away and dine-in at Morks. The take-away menu is your standard Thai menu, but is easily the best Thai I've had. They catered for my girlfriend's gluten-allergy by offering items that weren't on the menu, which were absolutely delicious. I didn't realise how much better Thai food could be prior to eating at Morks, so much so... More
