Dined on Mother's Day Night which expected is one of busiest night of year so you would have thought they would have had plenty of staff on. Service was a little slow & had to ask twice for order to be taken. Pastas were nice however marinara sauce was way too reduced & tasted bitter. Veal dishes quite nice &... More

Yummy home made pasta, the gnocchi was amazing. BYO which makes it even more reasonable price wise.

Coming from Sydney, we had been recommended Figaro by an ex local (now living in Sydney). We booked online for an Easter Sat, and I'm glad we did. The restaurant is quite small, (probably about 15 tables inside), and was almost full when we arrived at 7:20, (I reservation was for 7:30), but the wait staff instantly sat us at... More

This is the second time we have dined at Figaro and have enjoyed it both times. It was a Saturday night, we did not book so we were lucky to get a table after a short wait. Booking would be advisable. The service was attentive and the food very enjoyable. We both had different veal dishes and they were both... More

Where from Melbourne, After booking on line with no response, the next day I followed up with a phone call and left a message they came back to me to tell me that they would be closed on the Saturday night due to a Wedding (Congratulations), So I booked for the Friday night instead. We met friends from Sydney there,... More

We have visited Canberra four times in the last few years and each time we've dined at Figaro and never have we been disappointed. It's not cutting edge - just down to earth really good Italian fare in a pleasant setting. Each time I've had a veal dish and they've been so good I'll order one again next time! Figaro... More

The service was excellent the food was superbly cooked, a very busy little restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very good.

The best gnocchi I've ever had!! I believe it was a blue vein gorgonzola gnocchi...one i will never forget! Went there for our sisters birthday and would definetly return. Even though the potato pizza was quite bland and lacked flavour..this didn't worry us as the gnocchi was just so flavourful in every bite. Really can't recommend it enough.

From making the booking, to enjoying dessert, Figaro is very professional, and glows with charms and style. The food is out of this world. It's not fancily plated, but looks of the best home cooking you could imagine.

I came here with high hopes having heard friends rave about their authentic Italian approach to cooking. I’ve spent some time in Italy and will now go out of my way to search out proper Italian food now that I’m back in Australia. The lady who served us was a delight and pointed out a few dishes to ensure we... More
