We came here due to the great reviews on trip adviser. We were not disappointed! The pub is beautifully decorated with a great outdoor space. The staff are very welcoming and they cannot do enough for you. We chose the beer battered fish & chips. I think it is safe to say it was the best we have ever had....

We travelled an hour from Birmingham to meet some family for food at The Moody Cow. The staff were very welcoming and it was lovely to have drinks on the comfy sofas on arrival. The food was fantastic (we couldn't decide what to have as everything sounded so yummy!) and portion sizes were perfect. I would definitely recommend this lovely...

We were on holiday from Australia staying in Brecon mid-Wales and arranged to meet our niece and husband at a location half way between Brecon and Birmingham. We chose the above restaurant from three suggested by our niece. Our decision was based to a large extent on other Trip advisor reports, and very easy access from major roads.
The atmosphere...

On a recent weekend trip to Ross-on-Wye, we chanced to pick up a copy of "where to eat in Ross" and noticed the ad for the Moody Cow, saying it was dog-friendly. We were so glad we did. On a cool June evening with a dog it is hard to find somewhere good to eat inside without having to leave...

We popped in for lunch after looking on Trip Advisor after it was a rainy day and we where hungry and cold. We where greeted by a lovely bar lady, who made us feel most welcome. The pub was warm and inviting and looked lovely. My son (who is 4) was given some colouring pencils while we waited, and conversed...

Thank you for your kind review. We are all delighted that you enjoyed luch with us, our beer battered fish and chips is our most popular lunchtime dish and the smaller portion that we offer is a favourite with young children and those with a less hearty appetite.

This inn/restaurant has never failed to deliver the goods. I have used it to entertain colleagues, celebrate a retirement and meet with family and friends and on all occasions the food has been well presented, well cooked and delicious. It is one of those places that one visits and feel that the bill was fully justified.
Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are delighted that you have chosen the Moody Cow for so many different occasions and that each time we have come up to expectations.
We fully appreciate that we are only as good as the last meal that we have served and promise that every time you reward us...
