We had dinner here a few weeks ago. We sat out on the breezy terrace with a view of the ocean. I had the jumbo prawns and my husband had the grouper. We were both very pleased. I wouldn't say the food is gourmet, but it is certainly acceptable. We are very picky eaters. The hot salsa was tasty. The... More

Our family group had a great day on the water charter fishing with "Captain Abraham". To top it off our catch was very nicely prepared at his family;s Pelicanos Restaurant. Combined with the tasty Ceviche and Margaritas with a backdrop of the moonlit Caribbean it was priceless! Their hospitality and service was exceptional.

We stayed a week at Now Jade just down the road from "downtown" Puerto Morelos. We took the short $10 cab ride to town to do some shopping and soak in some atmosphere. Pelicano's was recommended by the PC staff. We stopped in for appetizers, marg's and a view. All was good but I must warn you about he habanero... More

Great beach front location for good, honest Mexican seafood. Try the octopus in it's own ink or the fish in garlic sauce. The ceviches and cocktails are also very good. This is not a gourmet restaurant but has been one of my favorites for more than 20 years.

Nice view, watch the boats go by, food was very good, but check with server on how food prepared with spices, so you are certain what you are getting.

Pelicano's was located perfectly to the shops so that if you needed to cool off fro the heat, have a beer or use the bathrooms. Staff was very friendly.

We love to shop and visit Pt Morelos, then have a great lunch and cervazas at Pelicanos while enjoying the view.

Food is to die for, and they will accommodate and make you whatever you want even if it's not on the menu. Love it here!

Stopped in for breakfast based on the prime location and nice view. They had the worst chilaquiles I've tried, and the huevos rancheros were also sub-par. Both dishes were very mushy, the tortillas were either not fried at all, or just not fried long enough. The service was friendly. I feel a lot of places with great views seem to... More
