Description: Le Spice Merchant in Ware is an innovative Pan-Indian restaurant that also serves authentic, traditional favourites. The smart dining room features white table linens, upholstered seating, soothing colours and a bright artworks. After a lifetime in the food business, Imran Chowdhury now has his first restaurant where he can present superb dishes from all over the subcontinent and his own creations too. Signature dishes include chargrilled rare duck tikka, roast lamb shank with ginger, garlic, cumin and green chilli, and sumondari khazana with greenlip mussels, baby squid and crab meat. Ever-changing Sunday buffet and great value lunch menus make Le Spice Merchant a local favourite.

I've read all the reviews & can't believe how some people can rate this place so low. And the complaints about the 'lack of English' is almost discriminative. Just came back from another outstanding meal from Le Spice. Everything about it is excellent. If you fancy something different ask the two owners for their advice, we did and the starter platter their recommended was beautiful! As good as any top Indian in London but half the price! Enjoy!

“superb different indian menu”

I visited with 5 friends and the food was excellent, the restuarant was full but the service was still good as all the food was freshly cooked, the piri piri chicken if you like hot spices was faultless.Its worth speaking to the owner for his recommendations. Hope you enjoy it Steve

Very friendly staff and great menu which givse this Indian restuarant the edge over most others out there. Always my choice if I fancy a curry and want to stay local

“selling drinks to under age kids”

was eating in when the staff was selling beer to a 16 year cause it was his birthday! i have a son that age who i will not him to this place cause of that..
