The L- Ghonnella Restaurant was close to the Cavalieri Hotel and although had no view it had buckets of atmosphere. I had the fillet steak special. The food was good and it would have been better, had it been warmer. Service was a little too slow. I went for the atmosphere pity the food did not match up.

Good food, nice setting, if you go on the malta sightseeing tours, open top bus, show them your ticket and you'll get 15% off. We had 3 courses for 16Euros, which was pretty good. The setting meant it was quite quiet and there's no view, but on this occasion it made a nice change from busy, busy. Very helpful staff..

Food is lovely though a bit on the high side for what you get though the place is lovely

Nice setting, but the food was pretty average. My prawns were swimming in some sort of gravy, and my husband's chicken was very dry. There are better places to eat in the area.

What a nightmare went booked in for a monday evening 7 of us. We was shown to our table waited 10 minutes for drinks, then the hard bread arrived.
