Had the raindeer on bread which was suggested to us by the waitress - it was excellent. Nice staff, good food and drinks and a good atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Probably the best place to eat in Alta

Spent a pleasant couple of hours sipping a couple of draft beers and enjoying the reindeer special on a sunny June evening. Service, by a busy young Polish woman, was exceedingly considerate by Norwegian standards.

When we visited this restaurant the dish of the day was marinated lamb. It was delicious and the presentation on a rock plate was good looking. A helpful waitress contributed to a good expereince.

This is a bistro/cafe/pub, with local dishes like reindeer on the menu. In my opinion they have gone slightly over the top with naming the dishes, like the dessert "Nickers dampener", which is a chocolate fondant. This restaurant might not look like a good place to eat, but it really is. Especially the "Ole Mattis Hætta" tastes delicious! I recommend this restaurant for lunches.
