This restaurant served delicious seafood. It was not the cheapest but the quality of the food and service justified the bill.

.....to stay instead staying in another b & b. This B&B is also a restaurant with good local food, organic wines, in the middle of the village that is Doolin. I loved the red organic wine, price per glass very reasonable. All wine served at the correct room temp, he had white, I in the interest of research had red.... More

Just returned from my 14th vacation to Ireland. Anyone who is in a 50 mile radius of Cullinan's in Doolin, Co. Clare should stay at their Guest House & Restaurant. If their Guest House is full you must at least eat at their restaurant. James is an outstanding Chef, and serves the very Best Food in all of Ireland! Cullinan's... More

It started off badly, as we got overbooked and ended up eating an hour later than scheduled. I was pretty mad at the time, and the owner was so apologetic. The food was fantastic, and the staff very friendly. The owner was lovely and by way of apology, threw in a bottle of wine, desert and a glass of port.... More

We've been very lucky to eat in many excellent restaurants around the world, but Cullinan's in Doolin just superb. As well as being a gifted chef, James is a renowned fiddle player. This is reflected in the choice of background music that greets you when you enter the restaurant. The atmosphere is very intimate and you immediately feel spoilt -... More

This was our third visit to this superb restaurant and it was no problem when we had one coeliac and one milk free allergy in our party.

We arrived at Cullinan's late Friday night and asked if a table was available. They were full but suggested that a wait of 15 minutes should result in an opening. We sat in their waiting area, next to a peat fire and just relaxed. 15 minutes went by, we sat at a window seat and ordered one of the nicest... More

Went to make a booking here for one evening but got a very frosty reception. Was told we could have a table that evening but as the host was so unfriendly we decided not to part with our money there.

In little Doolin, it was a surprise to find a restaurant with such a high standard of service, atmsophere and food. The hostess was welcoming and while I am not normally a B&B person, this venue feels more like an intimate restuarant. The food was fresh, clean and very tasty as well as being beautifully prepared. The service was great,... More
