After a good walk around the Rock of Cashel and the surrounding area my wife and I were looking for somewhere to enjoy some good Irish fare, we hit very lucky when we walked into Ryan's Daughter restaurant/tea room. We were greeted the moment we strolled in although it was quite busy. We were shown to a table and as... More

The food is a little bland. This was our first stop in Ireland and it was good, filling comfort food, but the veg were underseasoned and my "lamb stew" was filled more with potatoes than any lamb or gravy. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant made you feel like you were eating at someone's house, very welcoming.

Decor is terrific, has an old style cottage feel. Place was full and seemed very popular which is always a good sign. Food is home-made and very tasty. Service excellent. We went for the curry which was nice but the desserts were fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

My parents and I recently toured the Rock of Cashel on a Sunday morning and afterward, were looking for a place for a cup of tea and a snack. Fortunately, we stumbled upon Ryan's Daughter - one of the few places open on Sunday. When we arrived, the small restaurant was filled to capacity, but we were able to find... More

Its located on Ladyswell street in Cashel, we stopped there on our way home fro Cork. The restaurant itself is small but cosy, its basically located in the front room of a small house. It feels like you are at a friends house for dinner. The menu had something for everybody and consisted of good wholesome traditional dinners. The portion... More

After visiting the Rock of Cashel we stop at this little restaurant. It's like visiting your best friend's house, people are friendy warm atmosphere, grandma cooking in the back. One bite for the bacon and cabbage and i was hooked, everything was cooked to perfection. We stayed 2 night and came here for lunch 3 time, between my wife, father-in-law... More
