I think it is my very favourite lunch spot. The food is always so tasty. The salads are gorgeous and the servings generous. Home made chips on the side - yum.

Trip Advisor reviewers and our guide book recommended it; we do too. It looks a bit pricey, but portion size and service mitigate that. This is a creative kitchen that does not disappoint the gourmand. We would have chosen their acclaimed restaurant next door, but it was only open in the evening. These are family run restaurants and have been... More

We were lucky to get the last table in the house under the till on a very busy weekend in late May, hence not top marks on atmosphere.the food is just fantastic, imaginative and top quality, it is a little pricey but it is worth every penny.the staff are attentive and friendly,I will be back.

Three of us visited on a recommendation and so glad we did. Lunch was fantastic, the food, atmosphere and staff were second to none.

A no reservations policy means you just may not get in. The quality of the food is excellent, so go early if you want a table. Great venue for relaxed, bistro style dining, when you don't want a formal meal. You can dress up or dress down as suits you.

Excellent country style restaurant, seasonal, quality ingredients, good size portions, delicious food, terrific service. Called in on spec, had to wait about thirty minutes for a table in a cramped room which was constantly filling up but really that says it all. Once we got to our table we had a leisurely lunch with wine and a most enjoyable afternoon.

If it's open I wouldn't walk past it. It's that good.

It's just happened that me and my wife we were browsing around on search of a place for lunch after to have visited the rock. So nothing planned, we just dropped in and we have been seated. The food arrived in no time and it was DELICIOUS, even my usual espresso was much better than the everage. Looking around when... More
