As a vegetarian I have never been disappointed with the food at Stares, the restaurant at the Commodore Hotel. Even with no veggie option on the menu they have always come up with something for me..and not just a take it or leave it option either. I am always offered at least two choices. “Very poor food”

Had lunch there recently Meat was very fatty and chips were cooked in oil that was so old they were in edible. Maybe we were just unlucky but would not be inclined to go there again.

“old world charme with a heart for vegetarians”

While walking by their blackboard with the daily specials caught my eye. They had a vegetarian dish of the day that sounded appealing to me.
