Second time there. Nice but not spectacular. Food and drink a little on the expensive side but as a positive, there is a good choice available. Portions are small, side orders totally inadequate. The seafood is fresh as you would expect it to be, sauces used sparingly so you decide whether that is a good or a bad thing. Service...

You probably need to make reservations! Pricey, but worth at least one meal. Everything we have ordered has been very good--- nice presentations of the food! We like to eat upstairs!
I was very happily surprised by the quality of both food and wine in this restaurant. Fish and shellfish are their specialty and I have to be honest; they pull it off very well indeed. The prices are decent, but this place is in my opinion not cheap. One has to consider you are eating in rural Ireland after all....

My wife and I dined here during a holiday in May (2012), we opted for the Early Bird Menu. We arrived at the time we booked the table for (17:30ish) and was seated straight away at a very comfortable. The restaurant was not too busy at this stage.

The fish was cooked to perfection, the mussels perfect and the duck tender and tasty. The service was calm and professional . We would definitely recommend and...

The restaurant is very nice, the location is classy but not too uptight.
The owners and waiters are kind people.
The cuisine is very good, tasty, not too complicated, well balanced. The fish is super-fresh and local (which is a plus!). We tried the evening menu, one starter (the chowder in my case) one main (hake) and one dessert (ice-cream...

Our starters were deleicous. The mussels were the best ever and the Mannin Bay crab cakes (caught right beside the house we were staying in) were...

Really lovely meal and service! The Monkfish was excellent so fresh. If you love sea food you will love this place!
JJ and waiting staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Most people seemed to be local as they all knew each other by name but some tourists like us. Ate off lunch menu but evening looked even better.
