Out of the many, many choices of places to eat we chose here for our lunch one Saturday. We waited 20 mins for 1 Croque Monsoiur and 1 Eggs Benedict. The Eggs Benedict was atrocious, one egg nearly cooked, one over done. Neither egg looked properly poached. The hollandaise was thick with butter and bearly edible. This came presented on hard... I was in Kinsale for the first time today and was recommended Lemonleaf Cafe. Although the cafe was crowded the two young ladies who served my husband and I were so friendly and helpful. Our meal of Lasagne and a burger which although took a while to arrive ( I was informed it would by the staff) was well presented... More

I went there for a takeaway dessert and tea! They acted like they were doing me a favor for letting me order and pay for it! The service here is horrible every time I eat here, I thought by doing takeaway I would not have to deal with it! I will never go back!

I first went to this restaurant when it opened and whilst the food was lovely the service was very poor. I waited ages just for a coffee. So I decided to re-try again this month and unfortuately I was left unimpressed once again with the service. I waited 12 minutes before my order was taken. My daughter was served her... More

Finished our afternoon with lattes and lemon meringue and carrot cake. Unfortunately the gluten free chocolate cake was gone :-(

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and every time the food has been very good, my only complaint would be that they are very slow.

Enjoyed it so much that we went back a few days after our first visit and took other family members with us. Soup was tasty and there were a good range of drinks on offer. Service was friendly and not rushed. Plenty of gluten free options and good decaffeinated coffees.

Not at all as good as it could have been. Biggest concern for us was the poor air quality/ventilation especially with cooking & in such a small space. The staff were kind, helpful but very slow, perhaps not their fault but may have been due to the fact that they were not adequately supplied, or adequately motivated, or their working... More
