On the recommendation of our B&B owner we were delighted by both the food and the outstanding service provided by Joren. We tried the "early bird special" and we're very pleased with our choices - muscles and calamari for starters and sole and asin stir fry beef for mains. The creeps that followed were also superb. We were pleased to... More

I have to say: not bad....A really surprising restaurant with excellent food. Also the dishes are very lovely decorated. Thanks to the cook and the courteous waitresses. Daniel and Ursula from Switzerland.

Before going to Kinsale I checked the reviews on trip advisor & that's why we picked Zuuls. We were def not disappointed! We had the red Thai fish curry & the lemon sole. Both were fabulous & beautifully presented. The puddings didn't disappoint either. Service was faultless and very friendly with the chef also putting in an appearance. The decor... More

We ate here recently while on holiday in Ireland. My wife and i both ordered the monkfish, which was absolutely delicious, well presented, and plenty of it. Although the restaurant is Malaysian themed, with plenty of spices etc, which was great, we both thought it was nice to have an Irish server to attend to us. It really added to our irish experience. I... More

What a night out! Food superb, could not fault the quality of what was produced, my only complaint too much to choose from! The service was excellent, the venue superb and the food, well just out of this world!

To start, my husband and I shared a delicious coconut marinated calamari appetizer that was cooked to perfection and served with a wasabi mayonaise. We each followed with a tasty and tender filet and prawn main course that was probably among the best we've had on either side of the Atlantic. We finished by sharing a very yummy crepe suzette... We too had the early bird (5.30-7.30) special. Good price for really quality, well presented food. The calamari was sensational and the wasabi and lime Mayo accompanying it really worked. I had Zuul's Chicken Currey and my wife had the Seared Lemon Sole, both absolutely delicious. Service great and all in all a wonderful experience. Try it yourself, you won't... More

We had the early bird special and it was the same menu as later, just cheaper. I would echo all the reviews below. The chef came out to talk to us (we were the only ones in the restaurant on a slow rainy night). Fascinating cultural mix: He's Malaysian, our waitress is from Zimbabwe and we're from LA!

Had the most gorgeous meal, cant wait to go back a try some more dishes, Best Calamari ever tasted, just divine even though after a delicious three course meal and beautiful bottle of wine, i still wanted to order another calamari starter, even though full stomach. Atmosphere really welcoming, service was wonderful and the chef came to meet us too,... More
