Great food and atmosphere in the centre of Kinsale. The place was full on a Tuesday night. I had the mixed fish grill. It was delectable. We had a group of thirteen that was handled well, and with no complaints.

We had the choice of eating in the restaurant or the bar, technically with different menus (but they offered both menus to us). After looking at both areas, we chose the bar because the ambiance was nicer. Booth and table seating was available. Service was superb. I had the crab cakes for starters, then pan fried plaice, which was outstanding.... More

The decor is a bit dated and dark, however, the food as always is consistant. Not the best in Kinsale, but always good, with excellent service. If you eat out a lot you would not go far wrong making this your regular haunt.

Food was excellent, good quality fillet steaks, service professional and pleasant and a restaurant you would just have to frequent again.

We stopped in for lunch and to get out of the rain. Recommended by the locals, this was a great restaurant. The food was awesome and the service great.

Kinsale is known for its great food and this place is one of the reasons. The fish and seafood are terrific (we had the mussels and the salmon). It was full, but the service was very good. We had the house wine and it was as good or better as more expensive wines.

Very comfortable with great service. The seafood entrees my husband and I ordered were quite tasty and came with nice sides.

This is a first class establishment, wrapped in a pub. The food was some of the best we had in Ireland. The lamb shank was top notch, and the seafood was just as good. Service was great, the only downside was the noise coming from a large group, but that is to be expected with a place like this that... More

Booking is essential as it gets very crowded. Fish is the speciality and is done to perfection
