Hoby`s is a great place to eat. The food is well prepared with fresh local produce. Both the set and a la carte menu have many interesting choices and are both excellant value. I have to say the set menu is so good we generally choose from that as you get three courses for 25 euro and the portions and... More

Myself and my husband visited Kinsale last month. Our host at the Rivermount b&b highly recommended we pay a visit to Hoby's so she kindly booked us a table for 8:30 on a Saturday night. When we arrived we were greeted with the head waitress (or owner?) she was welcoming and very friendly we were seated at a table by... More

On my 2nd night in Kinsale we booked an Early Bird at Hoby's for €25.00. It has a great choice of approx. 7 dishes for each course. The Starter and Main Course were fantastic, the dessert was only nice. Staff were friendly, decor was modern, but would have preffered dimmer lights. Would return, great value for money. We went for dinner there on a Friday night and the place was empty but we didn't understand why because the food was excellent and the wine was nice too. I would highly recommend it and go there anytime again. Price was ok too for the quality of food and it's a nice cosy restaurant to go to. I had... More

This restaurant is one of THE best restaurant we have ever been to. Fifteen of us were there for dinner on Saturday night. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The food, service, setting, staff were top notch plus it was very very reasonable. I will definitely be back again!!!!!!!!

Had a fine meal here after being recommend by our B&B owner. Lively atmosphere with some interesting music choices in the background.

Very rarely do you come across a restaurant that has all 4 criteria; good food, good service, good atmosphere and good value but Hoby's has all 4. Best meal we've had in a long time and thoroughly recommend.
