We use The Turks normally for brunch on Saturdays. We have eaten occasionally on a Friday, but tends to get very busy. The food is good & locally sourced, the beer is well kept and has a range of guest beers, as this is a free house

we went here for lunch off a recommendation, and we was not disappointed the food was great and the staff were all very helpful, this is what I call an old traditional drinkers pub, very pleasant and will be going back.
Arrived on a damp Tues 16 April at 5-40 pm and easily parked directly outside. Bar a bit noisy (piped music) so moved to a back room where the waiter bought me a Weissbeer and a perfect Shiraz for my wife and when she asked for the name ,year etc. the waiter brought the bottle back and gave it us...

We eat here very regulary i love this pub. Very friendly atmosphere and the food is amazing! Gorgeous homemade chips! More seating should be available though as its very busy and packed full all the time. Not many tables to eat at or sit to drink, often sat outside in the cold but heaters are a bonus.
We eat here often, be it lunch with the family, girly lunch or girly night out. Always fabulous food and fab service. Great value for money especially the 2 for 1 Monday to Thursday

It is always lively with a interesting mix of people and ages. While there always...
