Have been here for lunch or early evening tapas with girl friends and it has great staff and lovely food. Have had on three occasions the fish gojuons and chips and it is always pleases. A city feel in a quiet street in Truro

The Grammer School is definately the best bar Truro has to offer, a really cool vibe, good music (no crappy pop) good drinks and cocktails and nice food. We have eaten their Tapas a couple of times and it's always been nice, only thing is they bring it all at once so some things go cold before you get to...

We were disappointed by the speed of service - we had to wait around 30 minutes for food to arrive which at lunchtime is very slow, but the food when it came was excellent. I had the pulled bbq pork, my wife had Mediterranean vegetables, and we were both very happy with our choices. Coffee was decent too. Overall would...

ive been taken here several times, and the food is really good simple tapas, no real style or elegance just tasty food, although the last time we went! we heard the chef changed and it wasn't as good! but everyone have bad days! the chips could do with a little more care! possibly triple cooking instead of cutting bakers potato's...

Finding this wonderful little bistro was good fortune indeed. Tucked away in a tiny back street behind the Cathedral; you may not naturally come across it......but seek it out you must!
Outside there's a special menu chalk board to temp you in; also outside there are benches for when the weather allows alfresco dining.
Inside there is quite an Italian/continental...

Fantastic food, had lunch then came back for dinner. Lovely cocktails. we had the ginger and coconut mojto. Good value for money with and up beat and friendly atmosphere and attentive service.
Was in Truro for a vist this month and was taken to The Old Grammer School by friends. I grew up in Truro and have to be honest am so impressed. Truro has been crying out for a good bar and its finally here. Will be recommending this place to everyone.
It's nice to see a genuine tapas bar alive in Truro. It beats a few the other bars hands down for atmosphere.
The prices are worth it, they could do with a guiness tap but they get it spot on in all other areas. The cocktails are made by experienced barmen and don't shy away from decent measures whilst keeping...

I've been here quite a few times and generally don't have a problem. I really like the drinks, I had a particularly yummy expresso martini recently (mojito's are a bit on the small side). It's a great place to go for a night time boozey drink. However as many of the other reviews state it does get very noisey- more...

I have visited the Grammar School a few times In The past and am always amazed at the service and value for money there.
The cocktails are superb as well, they seem one step ahead of all the other bars in the local area.
The tapas menu is brilliant, something for everyone and the chefs are more than happy to...
