Nice food and good service, the fish soup is fantastic, very happy with everything, service is not very fast but we where not in a rush just having a nice dinner with good friends.

Friendly welcome and very pleasant staff. The English version of the menu differs from the French version. We opted for the set menu and it was preceded by a complimentary creamy leek soup which was excellent. The bread was a little rubbery, but another basket proved better, with crisper, crusty baguette. Butter (unsalted) was very good. 8 Oysters (Pacific) to...

Very close to the ferry so okay for foot passengers. Charming restaurant, tasteful decor. Staff very attentive and patient. Food was excellent and reasonable priced. The staff coped with nineteen of us with no difficulty. I would certainly recommend it and would return there myself.
Just ask Madam for her selection of fish, it will be brilliant. P.S. Madam speaks little English so ask in french !! Met a Dutch guy here who had been coming for over 10 years, nough said !!

What a lovely little fing, it is just off the Place d'Armes, on the front, it is so nice, reminds me of a Paris bistro, food is wonderful, far better that the touristy places just round the corner on the main street.
Service is very friendly and the place has a very intimate feel, would love to go there for...

We arrived at the Le DETROIT just after 7.30 by 9pm. The restaurant was almost full with a nice atmosphere and great service from the friendly waitresses and waiters well done. The food was very good and well priced.
We came upon The Detroit when we found Le Channel restaurant next door rather pricey. The staff were lovely and the food was superb. We chose the 18 euro menu, the cheapest option and there was so much choice. We started with a complimentary apertiser, then had wonderfully fresh seafood. The puddings were delicious too. I would definitely recommend it...

We went to Le Detroit for a second visit on a day trip. The food was mostly good, but the Fish Gratin was very dry and the Creme Caramel was terrible. We mentioned this twice and the staff frankly did not care at all. I ordered ice cream and received the wrong flavours, and we waited for the cheese course...
