We ate here on a Monday night and the place was full. Although busy the service was first class as was the food. We ate the set four course menu at 28euro and what a bargain! we had lunch there with our twin children. The place had been recommended by our hotel manager (*villa regina) and te recommendations was a good one. Food ia vwry good with good ingredients prepared properly. If you look for an honest dinner with traditional dishes, this is a place. Service, to French standards, is good.

After several diners in different restaurants of Arcachon, we were very pleased to discover Le Pavillon d'Arguin. What differs from the other restaurants is that this one offers not only seafood but also traditional dishes. As a starter, we discovered an exquisite oven baked camembert. We very much appreciated the very delicate presentation of the dishes and the warm service.
