Not a cheap option, a treat rather, and part of the prix I guess is the theatricality of the service and the apparent po-faced and earnest fixation on local and "bio" sources and ingredients. We had pretty-much the cheapest option, which wasn't too pocket-burning, the 50 euros all-in lunch menu, which included fizzy water, two glasses of wine, coffee etc....

We just returned from 2 weeks in France. We ate at one 3 star (the famous and wonderful Auberge de L'ille) and several one stars. This little restaurant was the best. We had the seven course menu w wine pairings. Every course was fabulous. The wine was great, the service equally wonderful. Yes it was expensive but worth every euro!
This restaurant has one star in Michelin Red Guide, and naturally, this is reflected in the prices - but also in the food, service and wine selection.
