The use of truffles in the meals we had was splendid. Never really liked them before. We went back on our second night we enjoyed this so much

Small, intimate and charming. The hosts John and Eleanor are wonderful. The pasta is so good we came back for lunch again the next day (1 hour drive!).
Over the 2 visits we had the Tagliolini with truffles; Ciriole with Porcini & Salsiccia; Gnocchi in salsa rose with pine nuts and truffle; Ravioli with ricotta and spinach with truffle cream...

Small restaurant with interesting menu and wine list. Very personalised service from the Chef/Owner. Food was outstanding and the whole ambiance was most enjoyable.
On entering feels like a French restaurant in size, furnishings and ambience. Well adapted to small, intimate, quiet dining. Nine tables, mostly of two and four. Menu is a good combination of the usual Umbrian fare but prepared with flair, imagination and new flavours. Serving portions are Umbrian - full size, well flavoured. Sauces and reductions are distinct and well...

I think this will become our favorite restaurant in Italy. From now on we will include Todi on every itinerary in Italy just to done here.
I travel to Umbria 3 or 4 times a year and this is definitely my favorite restaurant. The food is fantastic and the owners are wonderful. John is an extremely talented chef (and very interesting to talk to). Elena is very sweet and always makes us feel welcome. It's a great place to enjoy great food with friends.
Recommended by the owner of San Lorenzo Tre. We loved the small setting, amazing food and great service. Try the stuffed squab and the Umbrian appetizer.
Truth be told, eating here was the primary reason we stopped at Todi on our way from Orvieto to Spello. I had heard such good things about this place I knew we'd have to stop. A word or two of caution: Come hungry as the courses are large. We ordered three courses each and for the first time since I've...

We ate here twice during our trip to Italy in September 2011, the second time making a 200km deviation for another serve of their truffle pasta! Easily up there with the best food we have experienced anywhere in the world. Don't miss it - and in case you are wondering - the berry pannacotta is to die for! A highlight...

We found this restaurant after having it recommended to us by our wonder tour guides at Discovering Umbria. We just wanted to make sure they were open but only received stares from the owner and staff who were not actively busy when we went to the door - a simple "we open at 8" would have been nice. Despite that...
