After five glorious years of holidays in our apartment in Spoleto we have sold up. We have been going to La Torretta for a number of years whilst at our holiday home in the Valnerina. La Torretta is located on a quiet square about halfway up the hill in Spoleto, There is a nice sidewalk seating area which makes dinner a pleasant experience. Food is good without being outstanding and the prices are not the cheapest in Spoleto but overall it's well worth a visit

Excellent food and service. Delicious pasta first courses - strangozzi alla spoletina and ravioli; and chicken and steak main courses also excellent. Meringue dessert was a dream.

Trattoria la Torretta was another treat in our search for dishes typical of Umbria and Spoleto.
