Try to order the regular dishes , This is the most elegant restaurant on the island and has a long history of being the "place to eat" The staff are a marvel and the surroundings are beautiful. I hope the plaza restoration shall be complete before you visit.

We ate well here and the service was excellent. Well recommended - the involtini of swordfish with pistachio were very good.

This place is very classy. Name of the restaurant on the plates, decor that goes with it, staff all over the place, maître d' speaking excellent French (and English I guess). The reviews seem mixed but for us it was an excellent meal. My seafood pasta was simply delicious - best pasta I've ever had. Service also excellent.

The food was fresh ,the dishes were interesting and the service was great. The owner sons and most of the waitress speaks English and have English menu. Dont expect it to be cheap , but the prices were fair.

It is just next to the old church up the hill. it was quiet the night we went with probably only 15 people...more waiters than guests. Went here twice for lunch.Both times it was quiet and the staff watched our every move.Seated at tables overlooking some renovations but with good views of the castle and sea. Food very good,especially the antipasto Lipari.Superb canola.Best mains we had were tuna and a soup of mussels and clams.Good tomato and caper salad ,but caponata disappointing.

We were advised that this was the best restaurant in Lipari but I found the food to be average in quality and totally overpriced. Its predominantly a seafood restaurant.
