In a corner of narrow streets and near Marina Corta, the little port you will find this simple little cake shop where in the afternoons Cristina welcomes you with a smile and you then have the pleasure of choosing which cake or cannoli you want. Open all day so you don't have to lose any time. Simple, friendly and yum... More

We looked this place up after finding it on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. It is really tucked away and not as glamorous as the main pasticceria Subba, but the cannoli was truly delicious and the owner took time out of his kitchen duties to pour us some delicious complimentary malvasia. Really lovely

Reading all the reviews I anticipated this may have been an overrated place. But do yourself an incredible treat and have a ricotta cannoli from here. Not far from the cute bridge in fishing boat harbour, the only treat that has come close in all of Sicily was a freshly made warm cornetti. This was the best cannoli I've ever... More

After reading all the reviews we had to try the cannoli. Walked in and couldn't see any and asked expecting to hear they had sold out. But to my surprise she filled them on the spot and its true best ever and made fresh.

This was my favorite bakery on all of Sicily. The canoli was outstanding! We went here 3 times - and each time the proprietor gave us a little something extra - wine, bombolini - just a little treat to make us feel special! For me, the cornetto with pistachio and nutella filling was a real standout! Y.U.M. Stop here for... More

For all English-Speking People: Ok, ok, ok you have probably all read in the tourism books that Subba is the most important pastry shop in Lipari, BUT DON'T BELIEVE IT! There is this little pastry shop called Pasticceria D'Ambra close to the piazza of Marina Corta that is hands down the best. THE BEST! I'll tell you why: The owner... More

After a bad experience in Palermo of dodgy cannoli I was led to this pasticerra through this site and was not disappointed!! Both the ricotta and pistachio cannoli are delicious - not too sweet and fresh and the gelato is delicious too - pistachio especially! Do not miss out! You will not regret it!

When going to Lipari everyone says you MUST go to Subba. Well forget Subba and its astronomical prices and disinterested service (I use the term loosely), Pasticceria d'Ambra has cannoli to die for at reasonable prices. It's just a pokey place near Marina Corta, with a rather surly woman serving, but it's worth it for the fabulous cannoli. They fill... More

My target in Sicily was to have one canollo per day, but when I was in Lipari I went to d'Ambra 3 times... Their sweets are delicious and worth every penny!
