Personal service and really top-class food. This is local Italian osteria eating at its best in a quiet but central corner of this busy town..search it out!
Just a Spritz (local tipple made from some orange gunk - Aperolo??? and prosecco - worth a try as everyone drinks it) and glass of wine. Free monkey nuts, olives and crisps (chips to the seppos). And some quite spicy pickled onions. Excellent seats by a piazza. Great place for a drink and watch the world go by. Only let... More
Found this restaurant on last evening. Hidden down one of the little streets. It was a hot night so a little uncomfortable. But the service was good the food was good and overall we enjoyed it.
An oasis in a bustling resort with the emphasis being on quality food - of all the restaurants visited this one and the Don Pedro stands out. Special praise to the waitress for her charm, smile and excellent service and to the chef for well presented and expertly cooked food. Strongly recommended.
We visited on a quiet night in early June. This is a tiny restaurant but we couldn't sit outside because it was pouring! No matter, we had a great meal here - very meat based - I had tagliatelli with a rabbit sugo - delicious! Highly recommended.
Whenever I am in Bardolino I make sure to eat at this place. It's a wonderful small restaurant in a side street off the lake. As mentioned previously the menu isn't huge but there is something for everybody.and you won't be disappointed. Prices are reasonable and the service is friendly and efficient. Of all the meals I had there over... More
La Piccola Osteria is on a quiet side-street about 50m from the lake-side. It was recommended to us by friends. It is a very nice place, small but very pleasant and very clean. We both ate ‘tagliata rosmarino’; rib of beef with rosemary and thought it was absolutely first class. The owners are very friendly and the service was efficient... More
A really nice little place, tucked away up one of the quieter streets. There’s a limited menu – always a good thing, IMO – it means the kitchen can concentrate on doing it all well. And they do seem to do it all well. We both started with pasta. Macaroni on both plates. One with just a simple but delicious... More
We stayed in Bardolino for a week, and the best meals we had were at this restaurant. My elder son normally won't touch seafood pasta, but my wife's pasta was so good that he was begging her for some of hers. We tried 5 or 6 pasta dishes in 2 meals there, and all were truly excellent. The service is... More
The best meals we had in Bardolino, were in this little restaurant. It is situated down a quiet side street; via Palestro, near Pzza Matteotti. and it was nice to get away from all the hustle and bustle. The steaks are delicious, as are the desserts, and the service was very good. The prices here are a little more expensive,... More
