We booked this meal based on TA reviews for the first Saturday of our holiday and it was a real joy . It was fully booked, so recommend booking for the weekend, its only small, 11 covers the night we went. From the time we walked in to the time we left, everything was superb, service food and the price. We... More

...this is a hidden gem on the Ilfracombe high street. there are many place to eat in Ilfracombe but this is one of only a few places where you can get great home cooked fresh and high quality food at a very reasonable price. Definately recommend checking this place out.

Visited whilst on holiday in Ilfracombe. What a find. Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. Particularly like the selection of vegetarian food on offer.

Combe Cottage has a wide range of menus for every appetite. If you need just a small change to a set menu, Kate the chef will do her best to oblige. The atmosphere is always friendly and enjoyable. The food is always fresh, local and hot. I have never come out of this place without feeling satisfied. The waiter (Paul) is... More

The service was great, the food was delicious and really nicely presented. We had everything on the menu between us, and everyone was very happy. Staff friendly and helpful and the... More

A delightful little restaurant on the main street. We had an evening meal here. Very clean and welcoming, but lacking a bit of atmosphere somehow - possibly needs some quiet music? The food was excellent and freshly cooked, with not too long a wait. Desserts were ok but not outstanding. This was good value for money; all plates were emptied... More

The shepherds pie was yummy and steak stack was fabulous. Generous portions very well cooked and with nice vegetables on the side. Don't skip dessert either, the plum crumble with clotted cream...
